I've really come full circle on Valentine’s Day.
What once felt a bit rigid and overly serious and, lets face it, naff. Now feels like a breath of fresh air- its about the lighter evenings, whispers of plans, cocktails before dinner and desserts ordered just because. February always brings that sense of crisp newness after the frenzy of Christmas and the long, sluggish stretch of January. A little reminder that joy is allowed again, even if it’s raining.
