the new chocolate bombe
Have you ever had a hot chocolate bombe? Let me tell you, they’re amazing. I first came across them when I was on QVC alongside a lovely chocolate brand called Cocoba. Cocoba created these delicious bombes that once immersed in warm milk melted away into a rich chocolate leaving a scattering of mini marshmallows.
Now, you know me, I need the marshmallow to be the star of the show so I recreated the chocolate bombe where the mallow takes centre stage.
Using the same hand painting technique we’ve perfected for our teacake shells we’ve created a chocolate bombe with a difference.
An immersive drinking experience with a gourmet mallow-ey reveal. We use 72% dark Belgian chocolate to create a rich taste- painted ruby red with a sprinkling of gold and inside is a warming spiced gingerbread marshmallow. All you have to do is warm 200ml of your chosen milk. Pop one of our ‘Bombes’ into your favourite mug. Gently pour the milk over your Bombe and create a wave of of bright colour and taste.
We’re busy working on new flavours and some exiting collaborations (we’ll tell you soon) but in the meantime, these gorgeous gingerbread 'Bombes' are available as a 3 set in beautiful new packaging ( in biodegradable transparent tubes- not plastic!) available from Selfridges (oooohhhh!) and right here. Although it may seem a little early to be thinking about Christmas I think these would make the most perfect gift if you wanted to impress us all with your organisation skills.
