It’s no surprise that there has been a surge in demand for firepits recently. John Lewis has sold out of their best sellers and Aldi had early morning queues when they launched theirs. We’re all trying to eek out ways to see people whatever tier we’re in. And that means we're staying outside. 

This is my most show-stopping s'more recipe to date. Like the rest of Instagram, autumn is my favourite time of year and Bonfire Night is, undoubtedly, my favourite night. November 5th is calling out for toasted marshmallows with a fire cracking flair. This isn’t just marshmallows for soaking up the last embers of the bonfire - this recipe is the Catherine wheel, the glitter flair and the rockets too.

Bonfire Night has to be my favourite night of the year. I plan Bonfire Night like other people plan birthdays or Christmas. From mittens, lined boots, sparklers, toffee apples, flasks of spiced rum- to the exhilaration of fizzing firework displays. Kids are allowed to stay up late and grown ups can eat hot dogs for dinner.
I couldn’t love it more.
