The Perfect Hot Chocolate

A mug is just a mug, right? A vessel for hot drinks, we have mismatched ones, chipped one, maybe we have a favourite one. But, essentially, they’re all pretty much the same. Well, no. That’s not right at all. The mug you choose affects everything about your drink, how it tastes, how it feels, and the whole experience. So this year I wanted to find the perfect hot chocolate mug and WOAH did I stumble down a rabbit hole of pintrest, instagram design blog blurriness.

Indian Summers + Golden Luxe

I was in the supermarket this week when a mum turned around to snap at her child: “Ryan, I’ve told you, summer’s over now”. And wow, it hurt. I realised she was right. Im in the supermarket, summer is definitely over and no amount of hanging out by the new pencil cases or crisp, unpeeled A4 pads is going to make me feel better about it. So, here you find me trying to eek out ways to keep the last days from slipping away.

As the evening draws in the Paris streets upturn you. Even in summer you’ll be seduced by the smaller, narrower alleys with the warm twinkly lights. It’s time to stop meandering and for your space to become smaller. As you came to Paris to enjoy yourself it’s about time we found those tantalising after dark spots to eat, drink and snog.

I may not have mentioned it (that’s not true- I’m always mentioning it) but I used to live in Paris. Paris is my favourite city in the world. I don’t live there now, which sometimes makes me a bit sad, but it does mean that when I visit I now get to act like a number one Paris tourist mega fan.
